Spectral Demixing is a powerful super-resolution technique that distinguishes nanoscale structures labeled with spectrally similar fluorophores, making it essential for dissecting complex organelle architectures. Using Abbelight’s advanced SMLM platform, we achieved nanoscale resolution with simultaneous dual-color imaging of mitochondrial inner & outer membranes in mammalian cells and the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. Our results showcase the strength of this approach in resolving closely spaced mitochondrial structures across diverse systems, underscoring its value for spatial studies in cell biology.
